Two years ago, I had a Deaf girl show up in my drivethru on Halloween. Her mom was kind of sad when I tried to offer the girl candy, and you could tell it’d been a rough night. I asked her to get the girl’s attention, and then signed to her the way I learned from those top gifs. She started laughing and clapping her hands at once, and when I held out the bowl of candy she was DELIGHTED. I think there’s a very serious possibility I was the only person all night who was able to share with her that way.

on average an adult has about 4.5-5.5 liters of blood circulating in their body. a female mosquito, when completely full, can hold up to 0.001-0.01 milliliters of blood in their abdomen depending on the species. if we take the average of both (5 liters & 0.0055 milliliters), it would take around 909,090 mosquitos to equal the amount of blood in a single human. although there isnt an exact number of the entirety of the mosquito population, we can use fermi estimation. there is about 57 million square miles of total land area on earth, while say 50 million square miles are habitable for mosquitos. with a rough of estimate of 1 mosquito per 50 square feet (overestimate due to area and time of year). after multiplying the numbers and fixing the units, there is a rough estimated 70 quadrillion mosquitos. theoretically, if a vampire lived in a mosquito dense area, such as brazil, indonesia, malaysia, thailand, etc, and could sustainably hunt around a million mosquitos to fill themselves every time they needed to feed, there would be enough mosquitos to survive on due to their large population and fast reproduction.

hey uhh i hate doing this. but im going to be homeless by this time next year.
I’ve recently been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and have since been working hard with my doctors to work towards proper treatment. Uh but the whole medical system in good ol north america sucks, so progress has been severely stalled. my only change is that the cost for my medication has increased. Alongside this, my current guardians are completely inept at any sort of help or support. Whenever I make a mistake, and spoiler alert, I make mistakes, they’ve threatened that they’ll be doubling my rent. I am paid minimum wage, and lack the ability to get a second job, so there is a zero percent chance that I’ll be able to keep up, regardless of the fact that i am trying soooo hard to do things right. To manage existing costs I’ve had to cut out other medications that I’ve needed for years, and still need. I’ve updated my PayPal, t tried finding commissions, but no dice.
I’m stuck, and I’m terrified. Old symptoms like heart palpitations have come back, which does not ease my fear. I don’t know what else to do. Here is my PayPal, whether for a donation or if you would like to make a commission, I’d be incredibly grateful. Thanks for listening
