did koko never ask anything?

Koko, as well as the other Gorillas that were taught sign language, don’t ask the same types of questions. They seem to be incapable of understanding the concept of another being understanding something they don’t. Koko may ask someone to hand her something, but she won’t ask questions about an item because if she doesn’t understand it she will assume that no one else does either. (Source)
