As usual they had to listening to Professor Umbridge prattle on about something useless as usual. This course really was worthless all it did was promote ostracization amoung the wizards. Lupin could hardly care until he heard these words straight from her mouth.
“….Werewolves shouldn’t be allowed to hold jobs. Especially not jobs like teaching, where they’d interact with children because.” She paused for effect.
“Who would want a monster near their child?“
Lupin stiffens in his chair.
Quickly he feels the surge of anger clearly undignified by the situation.
He clenches fists on his lap. His knuckles are quickly turning white from being closed too hard.
The thought dawned on him. It was a terrible truth while yes it was hard to accept Lupin had no future. His curse would be with him always. Unknowingly his thoughts of the future turned to despair and let the sadness of that knowledge consume him.
