Tumblr user zubat is back on the internets lol

Just In Case some of you Don’t know, because this is pretty old news, tumblr user zubat aka Alex Miller/
Yrigoyen, scammed thousands of people on tumblr out of money, under the guise of using donation money for trans youth. I believe she was claiming to make donation packs for trans kids, calling it the Leelah Project, claiming it was for Leelah Alcorn, a trans teenage girl who committed suicide a few years ago. Instead she pocketed all the money & ditched. Using a fucking trans teens suicide as your scam front literally during the time her story was fresh & trans youth were feeling extremely vulnerable. She Did That.

On top of that fucking Dumpster Fire, she’s also a white girl who claims latinx heritage. She got caught tf UP in a spiral of lies about whether or not she was Native Mexican &/or South American, I think claiming to have direct roots to an Aztec heritage? Which Was, A Lie.

You can easily google sources, js, in case anyone decides to be like ‘ummm, receipts please????’ This woman is Disgusting. Like, the lowest possible trash scum of a human being. Please be safe & keep your distance from her.

this isn’t a “call out culture is bad, screen caps can be faked” situation. leelah alcorn committed suicide, the leelah project went viral and raised almost $16,000 but never seemed to do anything with it, people got suspicious and did a ton of digging, and finally people called her out on it being a scam and her being a huge liar.

and THEN, she published a bullshit response to this calling out, trying to justify costs and expenses of the leelah project to explain where the money is going. but not only did the response/spreadsheet a) not make sense number wise b) she published it under a read more, forcing people to go to her page, and thus earning her more money from the ads she had on her page. absolutely disgusting.
