That shirt costs $400 lmaooo

The shirts are expensive but the entire point is hundreds of dollars are being donated to charities working within anti-poverty efforts. Over $160,000 was donated last year from the sales of these sweaters. 

While we can argue that celebs could be putting all this money directly into charities, there is a certain benefit in them displaying these messages where they will be seen by the millions of people who follow them && bring awareness to the causes that they are supporting.

The common (poor) person doesn’t need to wear a shirt hand-stitched by a White lady anyways like lol. Our existence is resistance.

Thanks for this addition! I saw a post about the cost of the shirt earlier but didn’t know about the charity which definitely changes the message.
